#NACIONAL | El actual brote de sarampión superó los 11 mil casos, en tanto que suman 32 muertes.
La Secretaría de Salud del Gobierno federal reporta 11 mil 419 casos de la enfermedad, de los cuales 4 mil 966 corresponden a lo que va del año.
Según los casos acumulados, Chihuahua es el estado con mayor incidencia, al sumar 4 mil 513.
Le siguen Jalisco con 3 mil 603 casos, Chiapas con 680, CDMX con 392 y Michoacán con 346.
El grupo de edad más afectado por el sarampión es el de 1 a 4 años, seguido de los menores de 5 a 9 años y jóvenes de 25 a 29 años de edad.
Respecto a las muertes por enfermedad febril exantemática, se han confirmado 32:
Chihuahua – 21 muertes
Jalisco – 3 muertes
Sonora – 1 muerte
Durango – 2 muertes
Michoacán – 1 muerte
Tlaxcala – 1 muerte
CDMX – 1 muerte
Chiapas – 1 muerte
Guerrero – 1 muerte
Del total de defunciones, cinco ocurrieron en el presente año.
El Gobierno federal exhorta a la población en general a vacunarse contra sarampión, especialmente aquellas personas de entre 6 meses y 29 años de edad.
